Are referenced but not included. I'd like to see the changes. I like the new "type(obj)" function. I found that comparing BuiltIn.py with the prior version.
The latest release also appears to solve a VERY OLD bug with strings, where a string would mysteriously get stepped on with the snappy address of a recent device that sent an RPC to us. We were debating upgrading our products to this release but fixing this bug answers that question (assuming this is a know fix and not just a random fix -- that's why I want the release notes.)
I understand that this release uses hardware in e.g., Atmel, for AES encryption. Are there any tests on performance impact? Has the sniffer code been upgraded with hardware AES decryption support?
While I'm on the subject of sniffer, are we likely to see a new release any time soon? The current one won't search for snappy addresses, save output in any useful way (text, csv, etc.), etc...
What other goodies does 2.5 have???
Thanks
