SM220 Antenna Diversity Control

I've looked through the SNAP Reference Manual in hopes of finding literature explaining this feature but was unsuccessful. I see that pin A5 on an SM220 module has this feature. Can someone explain exactly what this feature does?

This is an error as antenna diversity is not supported via an external pin for the user. I will request this be remove from the data sheet.
